Booking Time

• Half-Day Morning Mediations: Begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m.
• Half-Day Afternoon Mediations: Begin at 1:00 p.m.
• Full-Day Mediations: Begin at 9:00 a.m.

Location

Luis Garcia Mediation provides flexibility in selecting the location for Mediation Conferences:

• Virtual Mediations: Preferred, using our state-of-the-art video conferencing system.
• In-Person Mediations: Available at a location to be determined (TBD) based on the preferences of the parties involved.

When completing the Reservation Form, please indicate your Preferred Location.

Making a Reservation

Confirmation

Mediation appointments are not finalized until you receive an email confirmation. Typically, confirmation is sent within two business days of submitting the online reservation form. In some cases, this process may take longer.

General Terms

The Mediator is entitled to compensation for time spent on:

• Administrative tasks.
• Attendance at the mediation conference.
• Preparing agreements and the Mediation Report to the Court.
• Collection efforts, including attorney fees, if necessary.

Cancellation Policy

When booking mediation, time is reserved exclusively for your session, preventing other engagements from being scheduled. For this reason:

• Cancellations less than 3 business days before the scheduled date will incur a two-hour minimum charge divided equally among the parties.
• Cancellation responsibility: Unless all parties agree otherwise, attorneys for each party are responsible for their share of the cancellation fee.
• Cancellations must be emailed with agreement from all parties and counsel, if applicable.

Payment

• Rate: The rate for up to three (3) parties is $500 per hour. Additional parties are an extra $150 an hour. All mediations are scheduled for a minimum of two (2) hours. 
• Law Firms and Lawyers: Mediation invoices will be billed directly to attorneys responsible for payment within 10 days of the invoice date. Payment is not contingent on settlement or receipt of settlement funds. Late payments will accrue interest at the highest legal rate and may incur additional collection fees.
• Pro Se Parties (Self-Represented): A $500 deposit is required via credit card no later than the five days of the mediation conference from each of the parties.
