Luis Garcia is a former Florida Circuit Court Judge with over three decades of experience in the courtroom and beyond. After earning his law degree from Northeastern University in Boston, he began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
In 2000, Governor Jeb Bush appointed him as a Circuit Court Judge in Monroe County, a position he held for over 24 years with distinction until his recent retirement. During his tenure, Luis was elected to serve two terms as Chief Judge of the 16th Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida, where he provided leadership and oversight across the circuit’s courts. He also contributed to the advancement of the judiciary as a committee member of the Judicial Education Committee.
